"With intuitive energy and the use of bold strokes, light, and texture, Linda strives to capture the mood and emotion of her environment. Her paintings appear vividly representational, but upon closer inspection, one can see the intimate nuances and abstract tendencies which elevate and enrich her work."
"Linda is a prolific artist and enjoys a variety of diverse tools and subjects, but always comes back to her Alberta roots. Her education consists of formal art training at Red Deer College and U of C, as well as numerous workshops with acclaimed artists. She is the recipient of three Calgary Stampede belt buckle awards including the 2010 ‘Collectors choice award’. She is an active participant in the art community and has shown in various galleries and juried shows. Linda’s paintings are enjoyed in both corporate and private collections across Canada and abroad. Linda is represented exclusively by Mountain Galleries, in Banff, Jasper and Whistler.”
