Hello everyone! It's been awhile since we have updated our rules, so we figured a new journal wouldn't hurt
. Please note that these submissions guidelines are up to the admin's discretion and are subject to change
If you have a question as to why something was denied, please leave a comment on the correspondence message itself. Please do not note the admins directly, or leave comments on the front page. We get a large amount of submissions and may not know which deviation you are speaking about. Thank you for reading our rules, and we hope you enjoy your stay
This is a club for any artist with a passion for animals, whether you are just a beginner or a professional. We strive to help our members by exposing them to the art community, and of course, a community with common interests. So come and join! We'd love to have you here!
We accept photos, photomanipulations, digital & traditional art, gifs & videos, literature, and artisan crafts.• Current submission limit: 2 deviations per week per folder• Animals should be clearly visible (main focus of a deviation)
• Animals should look relatively natural. Meaning no oddly colored markings, accessories, clothing etc. However there may be exceptions to this rule, and that is up to the admins to decide.• No anthros & fantasy creatures
• No made up creatures, hybrid animals, or OCs that are not realistic
• Extinct creatures are OK, as long as they were once real.• No dead/injured animals or gore images. However, skeleton studies will be accepted.
• No humans (fingers/hands may be acceptable)• No clearly caged animals• No unsharp/extremely grainy works• No stolen works
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to write a group note. If you'd like to help us out as an admin, please contact rainylake via note.
