Another view of my forest chibi dragon spirit!

The face and feet are home casted in urethane resin from the original prototypes sculpted by me in polymer clay, then meticulously painted by hand with acrylics and sealed. The body is made using vegan friendly faux fur fabrics, flollowing a pattern designed by me especially for this design, stitched by hand ( no glue or sewing machine used on the body) and filled with soft stuffing and plastic pellets. They feature a ball and socket plastic armature to hold a wide variety of poses.

Size: 53cm (21") total length, 23cm (9") high approx.

_______--
I sculpt the model of polymer mass DAS[link] , which itself dries the air. Then the model is well polished with emery cloth. I sculpt in stages, adding new layers of mass and polishing to get rid of excess or correct errors. Sometimes I stop work for a few days and close it. I do it to relax, and then see - maybe I did something wrong. Now I needed to finish the small wrinkles and veins and fully polished model.

To celebrate that Game of Thrones is finally back, I decided to make a dragon egg and a little baby dragon to go with it!

The egg: I bought a two-part plastic egg and added scales to it that I made from FIMO clay. Once the clay was hard, I painted the egg with acrylic paint using regular brushes and a toothbrush for a little splatter. Finally, I applied a layer of semi-gloss varnish for protection and glossiness.
The dragon: The dragon was crocheted entirely without the use of any pattern. I never use patterns when I crochet because I like to create my own original pieces rather than creating a copy of someone else's, and I don't make my own patterns because I can't imagine that would go very well. I just start crocheting and try to shape it the way I want it as I go (sometimes it takes a few tries). A lot of sewing was needed on this one as well. I decided to add wires to the insides of its legs and wings, which allows it to stand, and for me to wrap its wings tightly around its body in order to fit it inside the egg. The eyes are glass eyes that I bought, and the yarn I used is acrylic. I applied some superglue to the claws and spikes, making them feel spiky and hold their pointy shape.

I don't know how many hours I spent on this, but I dare say it was quite a few!

I made this as a surprise for a fellow Game of Thrones fan, and this person has decided to name the dragon Edwart! (This person is not known for his great spelling skills, but 'Edwart' it shall be! Edwart the dragon!)

Edit: I am aware that this cat has become somewhat of a meme. Even though I love the meme, this image was used without my consent and without giving me credit. Yeah I know it's not like I should expect more from the internet, but If you desire to use this image and you somehow found this original in the depths of deviantart, please make sure you credit Anyaboz in the description somewhere. Thank you:D

Also note: I do not recreate any of my past pieces. Every room guardian is one of a kind. This cat was given away a long time ago before it ever became a meme and I did make an new version that I auctioned off on eBay after the meme got big. That being said, I do not plan on making a ton of persian cats at the moment, unless of course you end up getting a commission. More info on commissions can be found in my FAQ at the bottom.

This dramatic little feline has bendable arms, neck, and tail. It has a rose quartz heart. Its eyes are slightly out of focus and its fur a little scruffy because this little kitty has character.

What is a Room Guardian??

Room Guardians are small creatures that protect one's home from negative spirits and energies. These friends can be easily placed on window sills, kitchen shelves, dressers, or wherever to keep watch over the room. Each guardian has a soft faux fur coat and each is individually sculpted from the wire frame to the clay face and hands, so no two are alike. Room Guardians are not plush, they have a solid body but their arms, tails, and necks are bendable and Inside each of their chests is a unique crystal heart to give each one a different energy. These little guys have a lot of character and they love having a home to watch over.

 1. How did you come up with the room guardian concept?
The idea caught fire when a friend and I were walking through an antique store. On one of the bookshelves sat two stuffed foxes wearing riding clothes. I contemplated buying them because one could convince themselves that their expressionless stares were actually seeing and watching over the room. It was as if they were alive though they wer

Taking offers for Trico via silent auction. Send me a pm if you want to make an offer.
I've gotten so many requests for a starting 'bid' for Trico, and honestly I'm after several K for him. He cost over $500 to make and 400+ hrs of intricate labour. If I don't get offers in that realm I'll honestly just be happy to keep him ;) (Wink). It wouldn't be worth it for me to sell him for less

PROCESS
Trico is approx 16" tall and 26" long from nose to back legs. His face, legs, ears and horns were all sculpted, molded and cast by me. His face and legs are cast resin, his horn clear tinted resin, and his ears are airbrushed silicone for a realistic fleshy look. His body has a wire structure with foam padding, covered in approx 2000 (real) individually trimmed, painted and glued feathers. Trico's belly is made of airbrushed felt. His nose and legs are painted in acrylics, and his face, tail and ears are furred with airbrushed faux fur. His tail is fully posable but the rest of him is not.

COMMENTS
Wow, I never thought I'd be finishing this guy and posting him online. He must have taken upwards of 400+ hours, my biggest project to date. I don't think I knew what I had gotten myself into when I said I would be making Trico.

As a character this guy means so much to me. The second I saw the first trailer release for TLG, it took my breath away. I waited just like so many others, dreaming of this game. When I played it, I instantly fell in love with Trico and his design, and knew I had to make him. Because he was so realistic, I knew that making him a plush would not do him justice, so I decided he would be my first art doll. I learnt so much from this project, from molding, casting, painting and furring. I hope you all enjoy him! And please share with anyone who loves Trico or The Last Guardian.

PLEASE zoom in to check out details

Please comment/fav. It means a lot to me. I read and appreciate every comment even if I don't have a chance to reply to everyone.

After a lot of passionate hard work, I am so excited to show you my baby Moss-Sloth.  A fantasy creation inspired by wild Two-Toed Sloths from the rainforests of South America, this cuddly baby Moss-Sloth has big, soft eyes and delicate tendrils of natural moss seeming to grow from long fur on her back. This one of a kind, soft, fully posable creature is designed with quality synthetic fur that has been hand-dyed. The face is sculpted, painted, and fur glued onto it piece by piece for a natural look.

Construction: Synthetic fur, fully posable wire armeture, soft plolyester filling, epoxy clay face and claws, hand-painted eyes and details in acrylics, natural sphagnum moss tendrils.

I am happy to share technique with other artists, and will do my best to answer any questions :)
