To be honest, it just seems to me that the "successful" artists on dA tend to have a rude message at the top of their profile dictating how you should behave. I don't mean to take the high horse, but it does get on my nerves. If getting more watchers and faves means I have to be rude (and then super
rude if someone didn't take the time to read my shitty self-imposed rules that they accidentally "broke")... seriously, no thank you. So, here are my
rules, in an attempt to not be super rude:
- Post whatever you want in comments on my page or my artwork.
Also feel free to post NO comments whatsoever if you're more comfortable staying quiet. I fully understand.
- I've stayed pretty quiet over the years, and mostly haven't responded to much, but that's because of my own anxieties. (I'm working on it, y'all. I promise.) With that said...
Try not to be an asshole. Or, if you're gonna be an asshole, at least be funny. An un-funny asshole is no one's friend.
- (I'm so not mad at a ghost follower.)
- (Sidebar: I was gonna go with "shitty asshole" rather than "un-funny asshole," but decided against it, although my language does tend to be pretty... colorful, let's say? I hope you won't take offense.)
And I think that about covers it. Other than: Have a good time, y'all. Let's support each other. There's enough negativity out there, we artists and art enthusiasts don't need to add to it.
