Kong and Mothra Save Miki

Some time ago, Devilman came into contact with the Titan known as Mothra in her larval state. Possessing similar empathetic abilities like Akira, the giant moth creature senses his feelings as well as those he feels for. 
The world descends in fear and anarchy as humanity struggles against the demons and the giant monsters. During which Miki Makimura, Akira Fudo's closest friend and love interest, has a surprise encounter with Kong. Although scared at first, the tiny human girl realizes the giant primate is more gentle than he seems (when not provoked). 
After Ryo betrays and exposes Akira, Miki defended him online and tried to get people to see him the same way she saw him. Unfortunately, this would cause a mob of people to attack her home. As she fled from her crazed pursuers, Miki found herself unexpectedly saved by Kong who attacked the mob while Mothra, believing Akira was needed to ensure the planet's survival and knowing Miki's death would utterly shatter him, arrived to take her to safety.
