Description
Manga (1972 - 1973) + New Earth/Modern Age (1985 - 2011):
The Justice League receive a message from Doctor Fate who has seen a premonition regarding the end of the world. Following Fate’s directions, the League infiltrates a city in Japan where they discover a young high school boy named Akira Fudo who has gained the powers of a demon and has become Devilman. With the looming threat of the demons on the horizon, the League must figure out who is friend and who is foe. However, other sinister forces are also working behind the scenes.
Primary JLA members include Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, the Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, and Martian Manhunter.
Antagonists include the demons as well as Lex Luthor, the Injustice League, and eventually Darkseid.
