I'm very glad to hear that this drawing appeals to you on more than just an aesthetical level. It's always a challenge to give the drawing a bit of personality, rather than "just" draw a person, so I'm happy you think I was able to do that. I always strive to add some depth and life to my drawings, which isn't always easy. So yeah, thanks a lot for letting me know, I'm always grateful for such well thought-through feedback.
Thanks for your wonderful critique. Yes, I agree with everything you pointed out, those were the actually the parts I struggled with the most.
