Here is my first of a series of 3 classic Supergirl covers in her 1982 hot pants costume, paying homage to the original Supergirl 1 cover. The art style is heavily influenced by the pinup legend Gil Elvgren.

Well done. :)  creative changes to the classic skirt costume. Different, new, old, traditional, and it all makes sense. I do not know if Supergirl from that era ever wore shorts but no matter. You nailed the style of both them and the shirt. Super-hero Rosie the Riveter. It makes so much sense visually and chronistically.
