About that Steven pokeverse thing. Why can't make your own pokemon instead of slapping cartoons with pokemon types and call it good?

EG:

Hissver (Hiss + slither + quiver + viper) based on a spitting cobra

Prixmate (Prix + Primate) ) based on a Vervet Monkey

Lagotalunt (Lagomorph + Corruption of talent) based on a marsh rabbit
