Inside a Castle Courtyard

In Iberia many former castles, convents and royal houses have been converted into "hotels" (called Paradores in Spain and Pousadas in Portugal)... some of them have been very nicely converted and are comfortable - and far from cheep to stay in... This area (in a Spanish Castle) was once a courtyard... The awnings certainly kept the area in shade - but I wonder what happens when it rains ;-)

A gift for David :icondavincipoppalag: for his up coming birthday.... :-)

The day light on the upper sides of the building gives a fantastic view to the general warm colours of your beautiful photograph dear Bro. Thanks for sharing :d

Seeing you wonderful images one by one, I become more curious about the landscapes of Portugal. I am sure I can still feel comfortable even in the outside in the street on that beautiful city
Did I wished you virus free days?
