I've been dealing with some serious art block recently, and I think I've figured out why. I developed the mindset that everything I drew had to be polished and post-worthy, so if an idea of mine didn't feel solid enough, I wouldn't even sketch it. This caused me to neglect the need for doodling, which I've realized is crucial for solidifying ideas! No doodling, no developed ideas, no polished, post-worthy drawings. So for the next 2-4 weeks, I'm removing the pressure of posting to help me rebuild a habit of doodling, and just playing around with ideas. I won't post anything for the next little while except my weekly animal sets. If all goes as planned, I'll be back with a more artistically fruitful mindset.
