Sir Albert Portrait by artbytravis Sir Albert Portrait by artbytravis
This is a portrait of a half-orc character from my group's Excalibur game (obviously not the most historically accurate version). His adoptive father was a knight who left all of his titles and holdings to Albert. Albert, who was used to be a shunned freak for his orc heritage, was quite shocked to find himself suddenly sitting at the round table amongst nobles and heroes of the realm.

Haha I think he was, actually. It's been such a long time since that game happened that I don't really remember very well. I think he was very fish-out-of-water.

Do you mind if I copy this portrait and make the skin a little bluer for a D&D character of mine? Will give you credit of course.

I've seen many people draw half-Orcs, but this has to be one of my favourites. It's just the right amount of human and Orc here. You make it look very believable.

Well done.

Ciao Travis,

Wow, this is one of the greatest (half-)orc portraits I've ever seen! :-)

I'm not so much into the "green" orc-stuff, but I really like this one: The self confident look in his eyes, mixed with a somewhat shy smile is simply wonderful!

CU, Miou Q. B-)

Ps.: I also like your portraits in your gallery for your simple and clean style. Please - keep it up! :-)

Ah, I thought this fellow looked of an orcish persuasion. Interesting character.

Travis could probably make a Beholder attractive... I'd like to see that. He says I can make anything gross... I don't know what to think about that...

What a handsome fellow! I do love half orcs, especially ones that don't necessarily follow the 'ugly and evil and sin' route :) Great work!
