Hello members of
! Thank you for creating and submitting such awesome works!
This feature is focused on "THOUGHT" and "SYMBOLS" - work that explores the process or experience of looking for, finding, struggling with and achieving an idea. I tried to find pieces that felt like they expressed an inner processes one way or an other.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I love trying to find the choices/symbols (subconsciously or not) that the artists makes/uses to express themselves in different ways. (these are all my interpretations only, please forgive any errors! And feel free to correct me
)
I hope this makes sense to you! Feel free to suggest future feature themes
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The contrast between color and black/white with the eyes open and closed is very interesting in the following four beautiful works. Although two have open eyes and two closed, I feel like the meaning is different in each one. The same symbol used in a different way can mean something completely different.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The following two use objects literally coming from the subject's head/mind to show the ideas or thinking/feeling.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
These two are like opposites; one shows intense expression that makes us think the subject is thinking/feeling strongly and contemplating something very personal where as the other image the face is completely empty - but it is expressing something just as personal because it's a lack of personal individuality because of external factors.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
These two works use both a hand and the face to signify what is happening in the image. In one the face is turned away and the hand raised up and almost motioning to stay back, possibly to make you feel it is a private/shy and sad moment - the other drawing the face stares into space not really looking at anything because the subject is in deep thought and the hand holds the head to reinforce this.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I hope you enjoyed this as much as I did making it!!
