From many arts on your profile not much are in this style which is probably most impressive and eye catchy from all the styles I've seen in your gallery.

Yes, that is correct, you know I am not a big fan of palette knifes but once or twice a year I feel this tickle in my fingers and I have to grab those ol' knifes and get some color onto a canvas :)

this looks like a color massacre up close, i only see the mountain in the small preview
this reminds me of dalí, up close there was a normal scene and from afar there was a smiling face with a beard :-)

loooove it!

I envy you and your ability to use oils. I love the mix of warm and cool colors throughout the painting.

Well done, Stefan. :)

You are way too kind, Travis, thank you very much. Yeah, just wanted to try something new and so this painting happened, many happy little accidents :D
Oils are still my favorite medium and I should do much more paintings using them, exploring my expressive soul as a painter.

thank you very much for your kind words! Unfortunatelly I have forgotten the name of the mountain. I painted it after a photograph taken at a holiday in Livigno, Italy.
