Mastophora was surprised of its catch, and its first reaction was to drop the line and flee. But something was suspicious with this creature. Is it acting as a predator or as a rival? Mastophora can't feel. But it can smell feelings. With this strange perfume, the creature is a bomb of scents, but Mastophora could detect what specimen of its species call 'disgust' and 'surprise'. With a mix of passivity.
Nevermind. Mastophora is too hungry and is tempted to test the predator. If everything goes wrong, Mastophora has a line to flee out of the creature's range. Mastophora uses a special 'tug' technique with a creature this weight, which is called 'pull and release'. A sudden pull destabilizes the creature. So Mastophora tried once, and got a reaction. The predator caught the line, but to discover that now its hands were glued to the line and that it couldn't free them anymore.
Mastophora exults when she smells a sudden drop of panic from the creature. She tries to pull suddenly with more power than ever. And again, one more time. But the rival resists and now forces are balanced. The rival is strong, but made a mistake. One of its kind would have said that sandals deprive it from any ground. If only it could have shoes with better grip! As Mastophora pulls, the rival slides.
Until the rival hit a 'vent' and stumbled. Another sudden pull and the creature flied like a moth. Its surprise was total. Any insect around would have smelled panic and suffering from a painful right foot and knees.

What I tried to do:
This page is the tipping point. This is where Dr Audrey Welsh is losing initiative after she made mistakes. Sandals are not helping her when she tries to gain grip on the ground and use her legs to gain traction. The reflex of catching the line when it is pulled. As a consequence she cannot really gain advantage from her arms to pull the spider.
1. The page is bright. This is because the victim has a chance of surviving. As grey components appear in the frames, the fortune is turning for her.
2. The victim has the advantage in this page. But she is passive, disgusted, she does not really know what happens, she does not clearly see the spider. As a consequence, she is constantly looking for the frame to bolster her. This is the signature of a victim here.
3. I was lazy to add more details. Maybe, I will improve it later.
