The Forgonten Man

Imagine lying in a dark hospital room, aware that the end is near—and no one comes. Memory becomes the only companion: a vast past with no future.

Working in iPhoneography allows me to speak through an emotional filter of my own making. I build images through layers upon layers of photographs that I have taken—deconstructing them, then reassembling fragments as visual elements. These pieces become the foundation for a new, singular image.

The result is a narrative that resists easy deciphering. It remains intentionally elusive—mysterious, yet anchored by the subtle guidance of a title: The Forgotten Man. That title offers an entry point, but not a conclusion.

This work exists at the intersection of the imagined and the real—a space where abstraction and lived experience converge.
