Description
Howl's Moving Castle
Myself as Prince Justin (otherwise known as Turnip Head)
Photographed by the brilliantly talented (and ever so patient) awesometastic
love you Christie <3
Costume and Editing by me.
Also a special thanks to Drew (ack, I know you have a DA but my noobishness is failing me!!) for being a good sport and helping us lug around our stuff all day, and for providing us with entertainment when it was raining
Even though the weather for the day was overcast I think that suited our shoot more than a sunny day, when I picture HMC the first vision that comes to mind is the castle hiding in the mist of the moors. Plus cloudy weather tends to make the colours 'pop' more!
Prince Justin is actually my favourite character, he has an unrequited love and is generally unfortunate throughout the novel, and yet he is still so positive that everything will turn out alright... hence the Silver Lining title.
What a lot of people don't know is that there are so many little details I added into this costume, just for the fun of it. Like the lining of my vest is actually a pink floral print (because I needed to be even MORE fabulous than I already was!) and the buttons on the vest are actually pearl-set buttons with a gold crown design on them
geddit, because I'm a Prince haha... ha..
This is actually my second costume from HMC, I also did Howl in his Bird Form... which I will also post soon!
