a kids dream bedroom

This is a corner of one of the bedrooms inside Belle Luce, the home I posted a picture of earlier. The contractor had me design a bedroom specifically for his youngest son who was enthralled with boats, beaches, and the sea. The custom boat that was built in here occupies the small tower you see in the front elevations facade. There is a small "sandy beach" in front of the boat, the carpet throughout the rest of the bedroom is a golden sand color, and the mural across the entire side of that room is a nautical sea theme. Needless to say his son loves his room and spends hours and hours there with his friends.
