This is to Commission me to draw a realistic bust of your character!

Please do not purchase a commission slot before discussing your idea with me first!

All commissions must be confirmed and approved through direct messaging before payment. This ensures we’re both on the same page about the design, pose, and style you’d like — and avoids any misunderstandings.

Because DeviantArt’s payment system can make refunds difficult or delayed, I want to make sure everything is planned and agreed upon before payment is made. If a commission is purchased without prior communication or design approval, as to prevent fraudulent purchases it may be declined or refunded manually depending on the situation.

Please do not send Points or purchase a slot without prior discussion and approval. DeviantArt’s system makes point refunds difficult, and I am not obligated to complete unapproved commissions. Also, I really appreciate when clients message me first, it helps me create something you’ll love and keeps everything running smoothly! 💕

🎨 Artistic Style & Customization 🎨

• All Commissions from here feature a custom bust designed by the artist in this style

• Commissions can depict humans, animals, anthropomorphic characters (yes I mean furries), or hybrids upon request.

• Minor color adjustments and expression tweaks are accepted before finalization; major redesigns after approval may incur a fee.

• Dynamic poses may be chosen upon at no extra fee, more than one character in one order and extreme heightened complexity such as in "Mecha" may result in fees.

• You'll get the same quality as shown, and you run the show! As long as you commission with me you'll get a consistently high quality in the same style.

• Don't be shy, I can do humans, furries, animals and hybrids as well as accommodate stylistically!

🚫 Content Boundaries 🚫

• I do not accept commissions containing gore, explicit NSFW imagery, hate symbols, fetish, or excessively dark or disturbing subject matter.

• I reserve the right to decline or cancel a commission at any stage if the requested content violates these guidelines or makes me uncomfortable. If the drawing was bought and I had not given the product nor shown any work, you will receive your points back.

• Final artwork files will be stored by the artist for up to 90 days. After that period, retrieval or replacement may incur an archival fee.

• By commissioning me, you agree to my interpretation of your request in my artistic style. Minor variations from references or descriptions do not constitute grounds for refund.

• These decisions are final and based solely on my creative and personal boundaries.

🪶Ownership & Rights 🪶

• Commissioned artworks remain the intellectual property of the artist unless discussed, requested and/or agreed otherwise.

• Private commissions may remain confidential upon request; otherwise, I reserve the right to display completed work in my portfolio.

• Unauthorized chargebacks or payment disputes after receiving artwork constitute a breach of this agreement. All rights to the artwork revert to the artist until the issue is resolved.

• The commissioner receives a limited personal-use and a small-scale production license unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• You may print, cut, or produce physical products (such as stickers, keychains, charms, or prints) using your commissioned design for personal use or handmade sales only.

• Small-scale resale (under 800+ total items) by individuals or small businesses is allowed. Mass production, corporate distribution, or large-volume print-on-demand sales (e.g., Redbubble, Walmart, Amazon, etc.) are strictly prohibited.

• Large scale use/large commercial use can be negotiated as a separate commission type which can be spoken of privately. If you wish to use my artwork commercially (e.g., for mass production, logos, or monetized merchandise), please contact me for a separate commercial license agreement.

• The artist’s (me!) visible signature or watermark must not be removed, cropped out, or altered in any form.

• All commissioners are expected to provide original character designs or properly licensed references.

• I will not knowingly create artwork that infringes on another creator’s copyright, trademark, or intellectual property.

• Buyers are fully responsible for ensuring that any characters, symbols, or concepts they request do not violate copyright or trademark law.

• I am not responsible for any copyright disputes, takedowns, or legal issues that result from the commissioner’s misuse of the final artwork or the inclusion of copyrighted material in their request.

• Please do not request designs based directly on copyrighted or franchise-owned characters (e.g., from anime, games, shows, or brands) unless you have permission to use them.

🚫Prohibited Uses 🚫

• AI Use: My artwork may not be used in any AI training, dataset creation, or generative software.

• No tracing, repainting, editing, or recoloring beyond basic print preparation (e.g., resizing, background removal for printing).

• Do not claim the artwork as your own, mint it as an NFT, or include it in blockchain-based or commercial licensing projects.

• My artwork may not be used for impersonation, false representation, or misleading branding implying association with the artist.

• My artwork may not be uploaded or sold on print-on-demand sites (Redbubble, TeePublic, Society6, etc.), nor licensed or sold through large retailers (Amazon, Walmart, etc.).

• May dm for clarification, I don't bite!

💖Allowed Uses 💖

• You may print the artwork as physical stickers, charms, or prints for personal or small handmade-sale use as listed above.

• You may display the commissioned artwork on personal social media or websites with proper credit if the signature is not visibly legible or agreed otherwise (e.g., “Art by @ArinaFern on DeviantArt/X(formerly Twitter)").

  • This means credit is appreciated but not required on every product, as long as the signature remains visible and legible enough to be tied back to me.

• May privately message for clarification, I won't eat you.

✨Artist’s Rights ✨

• I retain the right to display, promote, or post the artwork in my portfolio, social media, or examples of commission work unless asked otherwise for anonymity.

• I may reuse general design elements (poses, shading methods, die-cut templates, etc.) for future works, but not your specific commissioned character.

• I may decline any commission that violates these terms or my comfort levels.

💳 Payment & Refunds 💳

• Payment is required upfront unless otherwise arranged.

• Refunds are only offered before payment is finalized and the sketch phase is approved and agreed upon. Once the design is in progress or completed, no refunds will be issued.

By commissioning or purchasing from me, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service. The image above depicts a Rhubarb Kelpie, a species from the game Horse Life on Roblox. I do not own or claim rights to the Horse Life Kelpie species, its design, or any affiliated trademarks. This image is provided for reference only to illustrate the type of hybrid concept my custom artwork can portray. Their Kelpie iteration and Horse Life belong to their respective creators and are not for sale or included in my commissions (because I don't own them )
