Fandom Centerpiece - Autographed Ash jacket

Well, here it is...my first cosplay, fully retired and on full display.

The shadow box frame it's currently hung in just arrived in the mail today (12/28/11), and putting it up on my wall was one of the driving forces behind rearranging the furniture in my room (including giving it a badly needed full cleaning). It was sitting on a hanger for over a full year before I could FINALLY get an adequate frame.

And now for its origin: at New York Comic Con and Anime Fest in 2010, after a disastrous Saturday, I very much wanted to see the Voice and Art panel, hosted by Veronica Taylor and Misato Rocks!. After the panel, I was very fortunate enough to get her to sign my Ash Ketchum jacket. Once it was signed, my new goal was to put it on display.

So here it is.
