Keeping Up with Thursday, Issue 3 page 9

Hello everyone, it's that time again~! All of Issue 3 of my webcomic "Keeping Up with Thursday" is getting the reboot and renovation project treatment. Pages will be spruced up, cleaned up, and either redone entirely or simply re-edited to make sure everything flows a little bit better. Two years after it's initial arrival in June 2011, my webcomic has undergone a big change in art design and program tools (and skills) which could sincerely help bringing about a new audience.

This page is the same as the original, if you've been reading the original Issue 3 material while still looking over the new ones. Well, most of it's the same. Aside from spruced up colors and Photoshop useage, I've always did some slight changes given what's been happening.

Milon is not with the group. More Svenn/LeBrand interaction. I didn't like the askew overhead view from the original, and it leads quite nicely into what some might remember from the Issue 2 wrap-up. Trissa's got quite a bit of gold in there. Plus the weasels are coming off as looking like, well, normal weasels-- and threatening.

Some slight additional detail will be given in the next couple pages so they're not vague, and add something of a clearer picture as to who these people are and what they're like.

She has the fortune to have the best in weasel security.

Yeah normal weasels might look absolutely terrifying to small critters like mice. For us humans though; they can be so cute. XD
Of course not in this particular case at all. O.o
Good use of lighting and perspective. If this is indeed a remake of a previous page; it shows how it pays to go back and revisit an old artwork to improve it. I outta do that with some of my pieces. Keep up the good work.

One of the reasons I'm doing this is so I can eventually compile the issues and sell them to readers who, if they haven't on deviantArt or FurAffinity yet, eventually will. KUWT is based on a quarterly yearly format which I eventually want to package and distribute in graphic novel format. Right now I'm encouraging people to read it and maybe pass the word around.

wellthoughtusername.deviantart… - This is how much prograss has been made. Comparing the new pages 1 - 9 versus the remaining 10 through 25 means there's a lot of work to be done. Issue 1 was changed and edited to a small degree because it didn't need so much work, despite having the very rough appearance of my work when I started in 2010. Issues 4 through 7 will not be changed either. For that to happen, I would probably need a lot more time than I am presently given.

This is indeed a remake of a previous page. I still have all my old issue pages in two storage folders in my new PC from 2 years ago, and a laptop I got earlier this year. It's about 800megs full of everything I've ever done. I'm a very nostalgic person and I've definitely learned my lesson not to give away my comic to people I don't trust. Had I learned that mistake before, I'd be showing a lot of my artwork from 2001. But I gave them to what was once a great high school companion but he turned out to be a thief and an asshole-- he walked away with over 1,000 pages of vintage material I've cherished deeply, under the false promise of, "Oh yeah, I'll ink them for you!"

The only new things I'll be doing for Issues 4 - 7 will probably be new covers, and resized to 800x1000. I might call upon :iconsirquacky: and ask him to help me while we resize everything. But that's not for at least awhile.
