Post Punk, Indie Rock, Math Rock, Post Rock, Post Hardcore
Another unheralded band this time around, featuring Self-Evident from Minneapolis in the United States. Featuring an engaging tangle of time signatures and brusque vocals akin to those found on genre-legend Knapsack's releases, Self-Evident bridge the gap between that style of indie-tinged punk-rock and something more melancholy and elegantly restrained. this fusion is brought perfectly together on Endings, their second-newest release, and particularly with tracks like Temporary, Confused and The Past - the latter of which can be found as a gloriously low-budget short film here.
