40K Tyranids - Zoanthrope

Oh joy, it appears that taking the time to read my camera instruction booklet allowed me to take less lousy pics! Alas colors still tend to blend so some highlightning/shading nearly disappear but I think it's still better than before. So this is my old Zoanthrope, I reworked the skin to make it clearer, redid the claws and also the upper carapace. Old version now hiding in the deepest abyss of my scrapbook, namely here: [link]

As usual I'm still learning how to paint the carapace with trials and errors. Still unhappy with the result. I have a long way to go.
