My dear, darling son, How can I ensure you are forever protected, Perpetually safe from hatred, violence, & guns? Your happiness, wellbeing, and security are things that will never be neglected. There's so much evil birthing fear. I look at you, so sweet, so innocent, I wipe away a tear. The media has us on the edge of our seats, Glued to the tube, never missing a beat. Hypnotized, these headlights in our eyes, It's hard to feel wise when all I see is what I despise. The end is constantly near, but for you, life has just begun. All I want for you to worry about is having so much fun. You didn't ask to inherit our problems or our woes.
