Description

With great pride, I present to you all Tooka Squad's instructor and buir, Rahna Garin. She's a member of the Cuy'val Dar and while I was mostly inspired by an actual person I know IRL when I created her, there's certainly also a bit of Kal Skirata in there. :) (Smile)

Anyway, you all know the deal by now, so here are a couple of random facts about her to tide you over until I finish her in-depth character sheet:

Rahna rescued Salty (her pet tooka) from being stuck under a speeder's engine cover when he was just a kitten. He has never left her side since then.
She likes to craft little wooden sculptures when she gets bored and hands them out to other people.
She became a bounty hunter to support her sick husband. When he died, she had nothing left to lose so joining the Cuy'val Dar came relatively easy to her when Jango Fett asked her to.
Is great with children, but ironically has none of her own (at least no biological ones).
Has a tendency to pick up strays (both animals and people).
She did not go easy on Tooka Squad as far as their training was concerned, but she was also never unfair to them and loved them as her own children.
Loves to dispense random Mandalorian wisdoms to her "kids".
Her hair is tied into many smaller braids that she often ties together into a bigger braid to stop them from tangling under helmet. When Star was little, Rahna taught her how to braid her hair.
Always carries a knife in addition to her blaster and other weapons. She uses it as a weapon, but also as a tool for her woodworking hobby.
She also plays the bes'bev (traditional Mandalorian flute that doubles as a weapon).
Is a gutsy, no-nonsense type of person who doesn't take crap from anyone.
