Commission I finished up a few days ago! For anyone interested in a commission, hit me up here, Twitter or Discord! (links in bio)

Right now I'm a bit burnt out on animating, but if you'd like a quick drawing I'm always up for Ko-fi doodles! Send me a Ko-fi with a request and I'll draw it up! Please let me know if you are coming from Deviantart so I know to post it on here too :)

Is this gonna be updated to find out who's inside?

In any case, nicely done with this one.

This one was specifically an animatronic/robot! Nobody inside this one ;)

There is one person inside.

"Not again! I told them we need a higher maintenance budget! You can't run a FantasyWorld™ Theme Park without working pegasi!"

I usually favorite costume stuff but this is too cool to just ignore. Nice job! :D

Haha, thank you!

Is it actually a costume? I figured it was a robot but you did tag it as costume.

Hmm... I've never used flipaclip myself, so I'm not sure how it works... but studying real-like motion is partially what helped me! I tried animating simple things at first, like a bag of flour falling off a ledge, a board breaking in half, and later on, hands. It (unfortunately) just takes a lot of practice. You're gonna crank out a bunch of stuff you hate and will never want to look at again, but that's part of the process! Just mess around, try animating a ball bouncing or have a stick figure walk across the screen.

If that program can support it, I would recommend trying to rotoscope a gif. Find a gif (dancing, walking, hand moving) and try tracing over every frame with simple shapes to get the shape of the characer/person. I made a little tutorial for Flash a few years ago, I doubt your program will work the same but it also shows the general idea: crabwithglasses.tumblr.com/pos…

Here's another example: crabwithglasses.tumblr.com/pos…

Hehe, thank you! Gotta say, for my first time animating a horse of all things I think it turned out pretty okay
