Steampunk - Gothic Cuff Watch

Thanks for all the kind comments :) I make these on commission, I don't mass produce at least not for the time being. I work on my own and I try to make as many designs as possible.

Silver plated brass, hand-sculpted polymer clay rose, working watch face.
So I tried to make a similar theme like the previous watch that everyone loved so much. It has some "steam punk" elements plus the silver colour and black rose that give it a gothic essence. The placement of the wings was my favourite part, it reminded me of so many things. Valkyries, mythology, even my favourite cartoon when I was a kid, She-Ra. :)

I was just wonderig... How did you attatch the peices of metal together? Did you weld them with a soldering iron or something?
Aranwen's avatar
Most are riveted together in this piece.

So, do you make every piece yourself out of the brass, or polymer, or do you buy most pieces and edit them and put them together to make a watch?

I want to try and make my own watch like this, but I can't seem to find any pieces even vaguely like what you have. :(
Aranwen's avatar
The latter. Try describing those pieces on google, see what you can find :)

Oh, that's a problem. :(

I don't have a credit card or pay-pal, and travelling is a big no-no.
I hate living in Canada sometimes.

There are shops in Canada too, so you'd prolly be able to get away with a bank transfer. Search Etsy by location, select Canada, and search for supplies.. ;)
