A lovely portrait indeed, but just a suggestion,if you added a spec of light to the center of the eye-balls you will make her more real. Excellent work.

it's already in the later years, you can tell by the make-up .... and by her eyes. Something in them changed during the years. I can't quite put it, but it did....

...I just looked through your gallery and I must tell you: You really capture her well.
Your drawings of her are like photographs.
Thanks for sharing... makes me want to pull out those books I have and look at her again.

haha, I finally got up the nerve to put my marilyn picture up and then as I browse the popular list I see yours. It makes mine look like a 2 year old with their first box of crayons. You are a wonderful artist with those charcoals.

This is the first time I have ever seen any of your work and I must say that it is absolutely amazing. All of your drawings are so amazingly lifelike! You drawings do MORE than justice for the subject, you almost manage to make them look even better than they already do. Just incredible!

I love Marilyn and this sitting with Bert Stern, this is SO well done. I especially love the highlights on the eyeliner, the lips and in the hair.

Amezing! Love it! I'm a big fan of Monroe
and mostly I don't like pensil works of her.
But this one (also the other ones in your gallery)
are beautiful!
