Hi everyone! :aww:

In these months I had needed some watercolors brushes and so I decided to create this set for me and for all those who need it!

This is the GIMP version; coming soon PS version! :aww:
The brushes are in high resolution, and the originals images are made by me :)

Rules are simple:

Use for free in personal or commercial work but :police: do not redistribute, re-pack without my permission, and no rename :police: off course -.-

Credits or comment are not necessary, but are always appreciated, same the :+fav: off course ^-^

Thanks so much for the spectacular brushes! I'm having the same problem others have mentioned, though. No matter what color I apply the brushes are black. I installed after watching a tutorial, but the brushes are still black. I'm hoping to figure that out! But, if you have any idea what could be the cause & are able to comment, i'd be most grateful :)

Hi! Many thanks for have appreciated! Maybe the reason could be because this brush set is too olg for the new gimp version?

Unfortunately I removed Gimp and I never used it anymore ç_ç

I've researched & found what the prob is: The brushes are all saved/set to RGB (rather than grayscale) which means they all will only appear in black. I'm guessing some ppl are more familiar w/gimp & know how to fix this. Us w/less experience prob posted here asking about it. So, for those who want to use these these & don't know how to change: Open the paint brush as an image. Go to "image" tab >MODE>switch from RGB to GRAYSCALE. Then go to FILE tab scroll to overwrite (file name you're working on) & select that. After this process is done for each brush, go to: EDIT>Preferences> . This opens dialogue box. On left side scroll to Folders>Brushes. Put an X in the box to select these brushes>click Reset Brush Folders in upper right corner. That should do it. Whew! Btw, if you change your downloadable brushes to grayscale (rather than RGB) this process will no longer be necessary.


Thanks for the EXTRAORDINARY brushes! They truly are beautiful!

I cannot apply a color to these brushes.  They are black no matter what color I choose.  I use Windows 10

hI, I have that same problem I followed a tutorial & got the brushes in fine. But can't figure out how to apply color. Did you figure it out? Thx!

These are beautiful, thank you for them! How do I apply colour in gimp (I'm a newbie!) so that they're not black, please?

I use GIMP and Inkscape. Im happy to see more and more users translating their files to GIMP.
I look forward to using these brushes in my product packaging and logos.

Colors do not work on Linux version :c (Gimp 2.8)

Oh I'm sorry, I'm not tested this set on Linux, usually I have use Mac or Windows :(
