Haha, thank you Uhm, hah, difficult question. I never really tried painting before som school assignments, so I guess it would be there. But mostly it's been practise (the most boring answer ever) but also, of course, watching other people paint during my classes. You can learn a lot by observing others who are more experienced than yourself, their techniques and such.
