Fan art based on the original painting from Dark Souls.
Some aspects deviated from the original design, but I liked how it ended up anyway.

Amazing job on this painting, its beautiful. How long did this take you? The paintings I do for my classes are only 16"x20" and they take hours, so I can only imagine 50x70 must have been a long project. anyways, the Painted World was used to seal things away that were dangerous to the gods such as Priscilla or the dark ember.

Thank you! I have played Dark Souls a little, since my boyfriend has the game. Haven't gotten so far as to get to the painted world... sadly. I actually painted this for him! This painting took me about 8-10 hours. Lots of brush stippling for the trees! It speeds up the process when you get used to how your brushes lay down the paint.

You should definitely play further if you get the time. If not just for the fun and game-play there is a ton of beautiful areas to look at. And 8-10 hours, thats impressive for the amazing job you did in such a short time, I imagine you're quite an experienced painter. Anyways, you've definitely inspired me with this piece. I think I may try and find some areas to paint myself. ^^

Hi Hereskygall,
Thank you for your interest. Unfortunately I don't have the means right now to scan the whole picture in and get an image that is high enough quality to meet your needs. The current dpi of this image is 110 DPI (just checked in photoshop). The maximum recommended size at the moment is 30x45".
Thanks,
Kristen
