I had so much fun making cancer caps for my friends Aunt.  It was a joy to celebrate the idea of beauty from ashes!  As I was making the last one, an especially soft and fluffy one, my friend told me not to hurry because her Aunt didn't have much time.   She passed last week.  I celebrate the life of this woman whom I've never met.  Mourning doesn't have to eliminate joy, if you let it it can deepen and mature the joy into something even more beautiful.  It's a lesson God has been trying to teach me my whole life.  I don't know why it's easier to see when it's someone elses sorrow and not your own.  What joy have you found in the midst of sor

Last year was so super busy...I don't even know how it got that super busy.  Three weddings, one of which I was matron of honor and writing a mystery party game for the reception/weekend friendsmas afterwards.  I made my and my husbands costume with the help of the Bride and have never before felt like my brain was going to explode like I felt last year.  The end result is I made a lot of stuff but did not have the brain power or time to grab photo evidence for you.  I have been crafting...you're just going to have to take my word for it.

I'm just now getting some time to complete these submissions and have enough brain power to actually take pictures.  I am still a little back logged but at least I'm showing off some of my recent items.  It's a little hot to be working on clay but a business is a business ;)
