:iconmylittlegiftexchange:
Thanks for organizing this xBeautifulDreamerx
I got an amazing gift from my Senpai, and ahh it made me happy.
sorry I'm sending this at almost midnight

Hope you enjoy it, I had lots of fun drawing her C:

So I have stacks of notes, comments and friends to reply to and I've been a but and really delayed it all. Apologies for the lack of activity. Please don't think I'm ignoring you, I'm just feeling the stress pile on and I fear that may make my responses irrational or unthoughtful. So to ensure some better through processing, I will leave that until after exams, which end around the end of January.

I hope you all are doing well

The vibrancy is something I adore. As is the pink character between the blue and-yellow-orange colors representing an in-between. (coincidental or not a very clever touch) I have an issue with the character's posture though. The rump is very high up and it's as if the tail is the cause of it. When in more realistic poses the tail would be effected much more than the body ever would be of the tail. It would be plush and flattened out amongst the 'floor' the character is on. (And the tail has no tip which would have been an excellent time to show the surface she is on.)
Also, the hooves are rather interesting in anatomy. The back hooves are a touch too small and the front hoof closest to the viewer cuts off behind the back hoof and appears rather disjointed due to shading, I think, and looks rather awkward. While shading, I suggest not using the same dark colors on two different planes or objects.
The proportion and detail of the wing is incomparable, the sketchy and painted style you use works in it's favor and adds to it's realism. Probably one of my favorite parts of the picture by far. Guiding the viewer through with the rounded colors in the background is also a good way to keep the eye interested. And the hot air balloon is cute but seems added on at the last minute. All in all I enjoy looking at this picture and seems quite pleasant for a calm background. Well done.
