Yes I drew a shipping for the very first time! XD I think this shipping is cute >w<
Derpy and Doctor Whooves (Time turner)
I like Derpy I think its nice how she can smile when she makes a whole lot of mistakes. If you don't like her, that's completely fine. After all everyone has different opinion. c:
I was a bit hesitant to leave the comments all due to fear of hate spamming on ponies, this shipping or Derpy. So this is why I ask of you people to not hate. Not liking and expressing your opinion is completely fine ^^ just don't hate.
XD I know the picture has lots of detail problems... its just that feeling after staring at the computer for too long and going nope I'm stopping. AS you noticed, this was a change in style. I was trying out Tsitra amazing style. I have been a fan of their detailed art <3 (feel my failure compared to Tsitra's art XD)
enjoy !
I changed my signature just because XD

Before I get started, my roommate told me to ask you this:
"Did'ya ever notice that some of you artwork can be shinier than one of the new Star Trek movies?"
I guess he's comparing your style to their overuse of dramatic back lighting. In his defense, you really have a nice way of making every thing appear bright. It stands out among most of the artists I critique.
Now, on with the critique.
In regards to this "ship" (I never did like that term) it is just about cannon, isn't it? The artist talks of people who have a problem with it. I didn't know there were still people who didn't approve of this ship. I thought they were all wiped out in the Great Battle of Parva Equum. (That was in no way a deadpan joke.)
Seriously though, I believe the artist's fears were misplaced. It's not hard to see that she takes her artwork seriously and feedback very personally.
The piece itself is quite lovely, with a brilliant use of lights and colors to make a very romantic scene. They way the artist did the background looks incredibly real, just like a storm about to be parted with the sun emerging from behind the clouds. Not to mention the effects given to the rain, adding to the overall "shine" of the picture as well as the realistic quality of the picture with how it trickles down their hair and faces.
And, there you have it. A lovely addition to the gallery.
Sorry to kind of cut this one short, but I'm kind of in a rush. I like to compose a solid conclusion with closing remarks, but just know that you do good work, and all your fans agree!
Cheers
