I lay awake one starry night Unable to escape my plight The restlessness I felt inside Under the fading sun's light I prayed to the King above To share with me a piece of His love I thought of beautiful things from imagination And He sent them to me from His making station A horse came to me with a mane of green The prettiest little horse I had ever seen From the ocean waves bounded to play And invited me in the song of the day Stars were caught in the web of her mane And her eyes sparkled with the wildness of flame Her hooves dropped gold that melted into sand And she told me she came from a faraway land A white horse appeared as the other one fled And I lay there gawking from the sheets of my bed She was from the sun, her eyes shone so bright Her radiance all consuming, her beauty such a sight! A black horse joined her just then Running over to us from across a twilight fen Planets danced with each other within her mane And starlight trails followed her as she came The two
