Hey everyone on DA. Been almost a year of no updates on the old journal. Well I'm updating for a few reasons. One, I'm still alive and am going to post more art. I know I've been making that promise each time I update but this one is for real. I found my old muse again and have been on a drawing kick since then. It feels good to be back in the art world where I can go on here and not only look at everyone's art, but also to return again and post my own work.
I've been hiding in the shadows for a year now due to the fact that I've been super busy with my life outside of DA and the internet, school was really the main cause but also I've had a lot of changes going on in my personal life too. Some good some bad. I won't go into detail since that would take up the journal entry and right now this entry is not about what has happened that was good or bad.
I'm also updating because I really have missed DA and the people I've made friends with on here. Though we might not talk that much on the site just seeing everyone else either updating, or still posting on here made me want to return. I could say that the reason I haven't been on DA that much as of late was because of a fear of getting another virus on here. But it seems that DA has cleaned up the mess since last April (yes that is a long time but one has to look over their shoulder now after getting hit.)
What has also sparked my return was getting a tablet for my computer over Christmas. Granted I still have MS Paint program so my art work is going to look shitty but it's just a practice run. If anyone could tell me a good program that runs well on Windows Vista that would be super. I'm on the hunt now to find a good art program that is also compatible to my software. I'm not 100% sure if Photoshop will work so if anyone has the answer to that let me know. Or if you know a program that works just as well as Photoshop (because I don't have the cash to buy that program) post it on here. Trail run would be nice if the program offers it so I can know what I'm working with.
So that's pretty much the deal with what's going on. I'm coming back to DA and I'm going to start posting more work. Traditional pencil and ink, and also computer work too.
Cheers everyone and enjoy the new year that's coming up.
