Butterfly and Cherry Blossom Ear Cuff

I made this as a sort of test piece for a future wearable art project. This piece is an ear cuff with a resin butterfly, silk cherryblossoms, and a delicate gold tone chain with a fresh water pearl.

I ended up giving this to my kimono hero, Mamechiyo, at Anime North in May. It was very exciting. I'll be writing a blog about this ear cuff and my trip to Toronto soon, but for now you can read more about my crafty exploits on my blog at www.appledainty.com
