Description

Yet another wrap bracelet that I enjoyed making. I saw one someone was selling on Etsy that was made with a brown cord and green adventurine and I loved the colors together. So I made my own. I didn't have a button for this one at the time and I wanted to go with something different than what I had already gone with (basically the same thing on three different bracelets) and fell in love with the hand made pewter mermaid one I found on Fusionbeads.com. After much waiting for the button to come in I finally made it and I love it.

Lovely wrap-bracelet! Aventurine is one of my favorite stones, and I LOOOVE mermaids!!!

Yes, I adore Green Girl Studio beads--her handmade creations are WELL worth the wait! I still have one of her "MerGirl" pendant beads from about 15 years ago that I had made the focus of a pink freshwater pearl necklace--one of my earliest DIY efforts! But for a faster delivery I would definitely suggest that you get Green Girl beads from an Etsy seller like Button Joe or Beadlady. I think the smaller operations know their inventory better, are more on top of updating what they have in stock versus what they--and therefore YOU, the buyer--will have to wait for, AND have a LOT fewer packages to send out every day than the big guys. Just my own observations--prolly skewed by my love of Etsy! :D  And if you REALLY want variety, you can go straight to the source--greengirlstudios.com/pewter/
