If you've ever heard it said about the perils of using real marble for headstones in areas with extreme temperature fluctuations... this is the reason why. I took this in a cemetery attached to a church that was still in use. Given the conditions of about 25% of the graves, you would have thought it was abandoned, though.

Taken with a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT in mid-May 2009. Offered for sale as a print to help afford a longer lens and stronger flash for my camera.
