I actually just crochet almost half spheres (except more brown than yellow) and then attach the limbs kind of mid-way between the colors. When I attached the white rim on, I followed the brown-yellow borders and the brown-limb borders so that it would just give the effect of a 2-part shell. Hope that makes sense!
HI sorry to ask, but i don't understand how you made the 'almost half spheres'. Can you plesase explain. I am making a Squirtle for my son's best friend.
