Its a damn shame this got so popular with a .ttf font used with it, the bad font rendering is painfully obvious. How no one is bothered by the green halo is beyond me. If only people would turn off cleartype...

Done a fresh install of BBlean 1.17 + this skin only on my fresh install of windows 7 and everytime I restart after install it white screen and bblean core crashes. I've googled but I don't see anyone else running into this problem you happen to know anything? I absolutely love this skin by the way I think it should be the default if it was still being updated! Great job.

1) ctrl+right click the bblean taskbar>configuration>width percent>100

2) right click on the desktop>blackbox>configuration>plugins>load/unload>untick bbSlit/bbAnalog/bbIconBox

hey, nice looking skin. I also have a few questions,
how do i get rid of the little menu/quicklaunch thing on the side of the screen (with the clock and some icons on it)
also i am having trouble with setting bblean as the default shell. I run the bsetshell application in the bblean directory but when i restart my pc its back to windows. Im probably missing something, do you know the steps?
Thanks

sorry, i should have read some other comments before posting. I figured out the shell problem, but it still clashes a bit with my visual style, not too sure how to approach that.

Questions as I'm extremely new to this and haven't figured out where to click around to change this...first - how do I make the taskbar at the top take up the full width of my screen? It's sort of sitting with about 100 pixels on either side unused. Second - how do I remove the program icons from the taskbar? Next to the names the program icons appear and it's bugging me. Third - how do I remove the default windows taskbar so it's not gunking up my screen?

1) ctrl+right click the bblean taskbar>configuration>width percent>100

2) ctrl+right click the bblean taskbar>configuration>tasks>text only

3) navigate to your bblean installation directory and run bsetshell.

Okay, in retrospect I probably should have tried a bit more but it was 3AM and I didn't feel like it. Anyways, I have the taskbar issue fixed at this point, and fixed the default taskbar issue. All that's left is the icons.

I am having trouble Figuring out how you got you "Taskbar" From the default BBLean look, I am sure I am missing some thing really simple.

>.> Yeah I re-read that it made no sense at all, I was talking about how you got the BB toolbar stretched all the way a crossed instead of most of the way. But I found out how.

Awesome theme, but how do I get my notepad to look like the one in the preview? Although the frame has changed, the body still remains white. Same with my Windows Explorer. Thanks.

to clarify (because it would be an understandable mistake), the notepad pictured is the one native to bblean. perhaps it's affected by what windows theme you're using, but i'm unsure. i'm using pix_ by ~twnsnd

Ah, I see now. I'm a bit new to bblean, and I apologize for the ignorance. Thanks.

Hi,
I absolutely love this theme, I'm new to blackbox and I absolutely fell in love with bbLean when I installed this.

But I have an issue. Most program windows have a black frame with red text (like they should), but Windows explorer always has a slightly transparent frame at the top instead of black. What could be causing this?

hey there!

if i'm thinking about the right error, it's bbleanskin conflicting with explorer. to fix it just right click on the desktop>blackbox>bbleanskin>edit exclusions, and add the following lines to the bottom:

EXPLORERFRAME.dll
comdlg32.dll

you'll probably encounter more programs that cause errors with bblean skin, and you can figure out how what to add to the exclusion list by toggling the log which is available in the same menu as the exclusion list.

sorry that this is so jumbled, it's pretty late and i'm finding it hard to focus, haha. if you need further assistance just ask.
