Chapter 1-The Hero
Catch! Leo yelled, throwing me the ball. My hand shot up and grabbed it, and threw it back to him. He stepped backward and tumbled over a root, laughing as he fell. I guffawed as well, and ran over to help him up.
Jeez, Leo. Could you be more clumsy? I teased, helping him up. He smiled and shrugged. I chuckled, and we continued playing.
Link! Dinner! After awhile, I looked up to my mother, Sienna, calling me inside. I sighed, and replied, Mother! Cant we have ten more minutes? My voice was whiney, but Sienna rolled her eyes and laughed.
You know, most children bargain for five minutes, then ask for ten minutes. Obviously, you dont have as much tact as them, but Ill give you seven. I grinned, and my best friend and I got the most out of our last seven minutes.
