Lilitu redrawn by Aon616 Lilitu redrawn by Aon616
A newer Version of an old motive so I can see how much I've improved over the past year. Even though the all in all composition is not to my liking anymore.
Anyway, the character displayed here is derived from the ancient figure of Adam's first wife Lillith or Lilitu, who also (according to the much older sumeran belief) was the goddess of fertility and the night.
Often revered as "the Queen of the Night" or as an child-murdering and men seducing demon, one of her manifestation was a women with burning legs (as much as I understand this, an euphemism for her lust).
Although this is the basic Idea of this design, I used this to create this character in my self-designed fantasy World (yeah, I know I'm a grown man). In there she is on badass arch-demon/ess.
