Hello all of you. Time passes so first it has been a half year since I became a freelance artist. In the previous several journals I mentioned to you that I am struggling with the current situation because of lack of my skills and opportunity. However in the middle of June the situation around me started to get better. I finally got a single big work from the company and also one of my senior illustrator introduced me to their company and they're going to have some meeting with me in the next month and probably they will provide me some official work. I was not simply spending days for illustration in this 6 months. Is the way to my goal I faced so many brick walls. For example In April my identity was totally collapsed and I needed rebuild my style. But at least I tried to keep working for my dream. Now I think that's why the situation is getting better. I will keep my activity, and the day I become full time artist will get closer. I am always helped by your comments and

I quit my job and decided to dive into the world of illustration in a serious way. It's already the second week of the year 2022, and this is a report on the current situation of mine. It's also a memo to myself. Commissions First of all, since the beginning of the year, I've been getting commissions via Skeb and Twitter DMs, and I think I've been able to draw in a meaningful way. I don't know if this is due to my resolutions at the beginning of the year, or some kind of algorithm, but it's a good start. However, this is only a passive thing, and it's a mistake to feel like you've done something by devoting time to Skeb and commissioned illustrations, so I'd like to think of these activities as a way to keep active. Use of FANBOX and PATREON FANBOX and PATREON are monthly offering platforms, and this year I've finally been able to upload various contents to them. As you can see in this article, I'd like to share with those who are interested in and support my activities, how I'm

New voyage 2022

2 min read
I resigned from my full-time job that I had held for six years. This was mainly because of mental reasons, and the other was necessary to take a gamble to go in the direction of 3D & 2DCG one last time. It's easy to talk about your dreams. No matter how brave it is, no matter how much it is written in native English, if it is not acted upon, it is pie in the sky. There is a Japanese idiom, "mochi (rice cake) painted on a picture. Perhaps you know what that means! This means that from January onwards, I will have a lot of free time, which I will spend on the following things while using it to create more illustrations. Practicing basic skills such as drawing. Trying my hand at 3DCG (study and production). Worked part-time since I lost my monthly income. Enrich my education and ideas by visiting museums. I have an account of Patreon. I have been wondering what to do with the contents of Patreon, but for the time being, I think that reporting on how

Say @AoiWaffle0608 are you interested in using autogyros for a Dieselpunk-themed world setting?

I recently found this other style called the pusher configuration autogyro ( pusher vs tractor configuration ) with one early example from 1931 called the Buhl A-1 Autogyro. Plus, I realised some other examples of autogyros actually had aircraft-like wings like the Pitcairn PCA-2, Kamov A-7 and Cierva C.19 winged autogyros. This actually reminded me of compound helicopters like the Piasecki 16H Pathfinder and the Lockheed AH-56A Cheyenne.

Since the Dieselpunk genre is meant to be a retro-futuristic setting but using 1930s to 1950s aesthetics and tech examples, couldn't the examples I've suggested (i.e. pusher configuration autogyro and compound helicopter) offer some new ideas besides the classic tractor configuration autogyros like the Cierva C.30 or Kayaba Ka-1?

One thing I think is advantageous for a pusher configuration autogyro or a compound helicopter is the better visibility and larger passenger/pilot compartment out front to work with.

The other alternative I could think of besides the autogyro is the gyrodyne , e.g. the FB-1 Gyrodyne and the Fairey Jet Gyrodyne, which led to the Fairey Rotodyne.

What do you think of this idea (i.e. pusher configuration autogyro and compound helicopter designs) for a Dieselpunk-themed story setting?

Hey guys, I was just introduced to this pic and looks like if we can combine the pic example with real-world hybrid airship research like the Hybrid Air Vehicles Airlander 10, it could fit well in a Dieselpunk genre setting with its retro-futuristic look while looking plausible.

Thaks for sharing interesting idea!

Emoticon: Bow ..fantastic

Thanks for kind word!

Would you give any information on these Yucian Wars?

It is my original universe for my drawing.

There is no novels and games so far, but one day I want to make something based on it.
