*o3o;; welp ... i guess this is gonna be a thing on the side after all. o.o a save file was started some time around last Halloween, a bit of progress was done in it, enough for several more pages, so yeah. this is more than just a twoshot now

*that first face Hel makes ... it's a Ren and Stimpy reference, particularly 7 minutes and 41 seconds into Son of Stimpy. there were YouTube links to that crying scene, but they keep taking it down

*o_o in the game, it's possible to get Skitty as early as Route 102, and it's very common. o.o while Cutlerine did give several early pokes some extra things, o3o;; he gave Skitty nothing. really, Poochyena and Zigzagoon both get something new, but he leaves out the one thing that really needs it ... <_<;; Surskit also needed something (Masquerain didn't get that huge special attack buff yet), but that ain't common

*o.o the face with Hel spiriting away is another reference, particularly to one of Mr. Enter's more recent expressions. yeah, that one super nitpicky guy who did those crappy cartoon reviews around the early 10's (and also that 9/11 take earlier this year that got memed on hard). o.o he's gotten a lot better over the years (even apologized and ripped on the aforementioned take)

*the dead lady with the gnawed off legs is a real thing in the game. o3o;; and you do get Leftovers from her. yeah, you can loot corpses ... o3o;; and they have very detailed descriptions of how their lifeless bodies look ... and they're more outlandish than the last. this one dead Hiker was described as having the back of his body chewed out to the point where you could wear him as a meat suit ... im not making this up
**by the way ... o3o;; the Meat Mafia, absurd as it sounds, is a real thing in the game and in the universe for Snakewood. they don't have much of a role in this, being in a hidden cave for a sidequest, o.o but they were meant to have a much larger role in Cutlerine's planned subsequent hack (that ultimately got abandoned before a beta release), Keratin. they'd be one of the leading powers of the Hakuto region, you see

*o3o remember, those oversized sleeves of Gyro are multi-purpose. of course they could suck in and store a stupid amount of food and items

*o3o;; ok, who actually thought that dead body was gonna get cannibalized? -3-;; that ain't cool, even in the apocalypse. not only is it really fucked up for a variety of moral reasons (i understand survival, but some just go nuts), o_o;; you'd die quicker as a result since it's linked to friggin Kuru. especially if you go for the brains like a goddamn zombie ... o3o;; which is eerily fitting, as the disease fucks with your own brain. it's incurable too

* Norman ... is also dead. o3o;; hell, a majority of the gym leaders are, they can't all survive the apocalypse (the E4 has also suffered)
**o.o you actually can enter the sealed gym, but that's a sidequest that's better done much later in the game, as the gym contains powerful zombies that'll utterly wreck your shit early on

*<_<;; i know, i know. Norman being a neglectful or just plain shitty dad is a tired trope ... that was really only done well in the original Nuzlocke. o.o but there's practically no other way to depict him in the context of the game. o_o it's either workaholic or deadbeat, no in-betweens. o.o i'd lean more towards the former, though. you can make that not totally shitty

*o.o in case it's wondered, o3o yes. Hel's a shameless slut. been one since her childhood, actually (she stumbled upon her brother's porno mags with his crush's face taped to the girl's heads. she's gone down a debaucherous path ever since). it's been very heavily implied already, o3o;; but yeah. might as well be blunt about it
** the list of sexual conquests is plentiful too. she's done her Toxicroak Jiraiya (most frequent sexual partner, taught her godly ass eating skills), her brother (also frequent, also took her virginity. she started it), her brother's Swampert (also frequent, gives advice to Jiraiya) her brother's girlfriend (Hel's the reason they're together, actually. also taught Jiraiya his godly ass eating skills), everyone in Littleroot who isn't her mom (much to Hel's chagrin) or Professor Birch (much to his chagrin), and then there's all the drunken one night stands she's had. she's definitely gotten around

*o.o in Wally's place, there's an item crate with endless Potions ... or Light Potions, as they're called. o.o it ain't just hold items that got renamed. o3o this crate is very abusable. not only is it just infinite healing items, but you can sell these to have a small fortune and exchange the moolah for more effective (and cost effective) drinks, like the soft drinks in the vending machine at the Oldale Mart. ._. one also got a rename, though. Fresh Water's a Zombie Liver now. <_<;; hey, i didn't make this game

* 2 more face references. the Ralph Bakshi face from Ren and Stimpy Adult Party Cartoon (i wouldn't binge it) and a face Gonard from Kappa Mikey makes in an early episode (about 4 minutes and 45 seconds in) ... o_o lot of specific western ones this time around

*o_o for the record, im not into urophilia (watersports is also a name for it ....... it's the pee fetish), o3o i just wanted to give this random guy a stupid reason to die since that's literally what this rando does in the game; randomly appears, talks to you, and sacrifices himself for nothing. clearly had a lot of dumbdumb juice
