why something so esoteric? o3o;; i liked its unnerving cry ... that's it. no other reason
this is to the point where the exact letters for the cry are used each time it's yelled. it's also borrowed some elements of the freak, with white nostrils, a stripe on its side (for its Moonsandian tattoo), and even its regeneration. they even have a similar origin story
despite being called a "they", Amphy identifies as nothing. just Amphy
it's not important and it never will be. don't make a big deal out of it
Amphy has the most totem kills, single-handedly killing (and eating) 2 of them with relative ease
Info: a literal everything eater who possesses Moonsandian blood. Amphy is an escaped lab experiment from the same secret labs that Soun resided in for 10 years. despite its reputation as a monster, it doesn't attack without reason. it happens when the "victim" strikes first ... or if they're scum that does horrible things like beating their spouses or unironically saying YOLO

a creation of the labs Soun was born in. 10 Salandit were brought in and injected with Moonsandian blood. it corrupted the poor things, they went mad, and cannibalized each other. the remnants of this gruesome, violent mess would become Amphy and it would be tested on. the reason for all this? they just wanted to make a Salandit with 2 heads for shits and giggles. Amphy would eventually be tamed and set free by Soun. they'd live their life freely ... and being misunderstood

some time ago, fueled by the selfish desire to be on top, she went to Alola's version of Professor Oak for something experimental; making pokes Totem sized with some special stickers. however, things didn't go as planned. while she did greatly increase in size (she's actually bigger than a totem Togedemaru. heavier too), it totally messed with her physique. she became more than 50% ass, much to her chagrin ... and the constant insults didn't help either. this led this selfish cunt to be a bitter one. o3o;; just goes to show you ... you shouldn't offer to be a test subject to an incompetent moron who frequently comes up with facepalmingly bad puns. at least not without a good lawyer anyway
