o.o in case it ain't known what Quartz is, it's a very well known hack from 2006. o_o first of its kind; fully completed with a changed up map, original plot, and an entire dex made up of fakemons. ._. however ... it ain't exactly praised. o3o;; it's infamous for its terrible grammar (the creator's spanish, so yeah), absurd plot stuffs (the evil team, Band Ambar, wants to inflate the sun to power up their electric types ... im not making this up), and most of all ... the hideous fakemons. o3o;; they're poorly sprited abominations (someone also drew em all. way to go, popkas). o.o it's impressive that a 15 year old Baro made this all by himself ... ._.;; but that's really the only impressive thing. everything else is terrible ... o3o but i'd say the game is so bad that it's good. o_o shame that its sequel, Marble, will never be completed since the guy retired from hacking over 8 years ago
o3o so out of curiosity and boredom (and the desire to lewd em ... because i can), i made the starters. 
this ain't the first time i've drawn Quartz pokes (as shown here and here), but i never actually made the starters themselves. o_o it was awkward making em. Jardino's proportions are pretty out there, and making Oceadino was annoying because of that damn bill (and the feet). but the most troublesome to make was easily Tyradino. o3o;; took a lot of liberties with the only dino that actually resembles one. <_<;; i don't like straying from the original too much, but the original was ... ._.;; well, my anatomy's generally terrible, but the actual thing itself was just friggin everywhere (o3o;; i mean, really. look at this shit)
