A gust of wind ...

This photograph is very visually stunning! The robin's egg blue color of the sky and the vivid red of the leaves really contrasts, and gives the viewer the feeling of the un-cut power of nature. The originality was marked lowest (but still up there, I must say!!) because of the subject matter; trees and sky. Most nature photographers that I have come across go right for this type of scenery; I have seen it many times before, but not to say that your photograph is unattractive! There is a slight vintage look to this photo, which specifically gives this shot the sharp feeling of winter, and biting winds on your cheeks. The red leaves also signals that perhaps winter is coming, and sets the mood perfectly. Over-all I found this to be a wonderful photograph. It definitely caught my eye as I was browsing -- Nicely done! I can't wait to see more of your photography!
