I've never been a fan of working with additional light except when it's a part of a scene or a concept. Especially with the impulse light and flash heads. Maybe I just don't know how to properly work with them but for me it always looks clinical and sterile. Plus I'm a 50 kg girl who always shoots on location and can't carry around all that heavy gear. Just give me an overcast day or a blue hour and a reflector. But working with LED light I find much more appealing. It's lightweight and compact. I love to be able to see exactly how the light falls before making a shot and not having to deal with giant lamps and modifiers. We shot that right after the sunset and even then the light power was on the lowest.
