Can you believe I started with this 3d stuff this past may? I think I still suck at posing and perspectives though...
Anyways, this is a character concept for a guildmate in the City of Heroes game. The guild is the Paragonian Knights, a wonderful bunch of people, check us out at [link] (shameless plug, grae will love it hahahah)
So yeah, um, he's supposed to be flying over the city as you can see. but to explain the pose, he kinda spotted some trouble out of the corner of his eyes.. thats why he's half turned. Originally I had another angle in mind that I think conveys the situation better, but because the red jewel on his belt plays a major role in one of his stories, I changed the angle to preserve the concept.
As for the work:
-I made the textures with PS CS3
-posed in Poser7 (m3 figure, m3 boot pack, xurge castle guard gloves, genesis rage belt, woodland ranger cape, stellar knight shoulders, various primitives)
-imported to and rendered in Vue6 (+dystopia city blocks)
-postwork in PS CS3 (flame effects stock provided by: [link])
